have you thought about a leveling kit for your truck? seems the little added ground clearance might help you at the deer lease.

KINGRANCHCOY (or anyone else), do you have running boards that would fit an '02 model? My daughter boogered mine up the other night with my wife's car. I like the look of the truck without them, but need 'em for access.

I live in McKinney, TX but my son lives in San Angelo.

Sorry I haven't gotten back with you. In the last week, I've had the following:

My daughter hit my truck with my wife's car.
The freeze plug on my commuting civic went out.
Now my wife's car is stalling so it looks like O2 sensors, ERG valve, and maybe a coil.
My FULL freezer went out and ruined about 200 lbs of food.
The fuel pump on my truck went out & cost me $150 to tow home.
SOB!!!!!!!

Anyway..........back to the running boards. Shoot me an email.

Yours are off an '03, correct? I believe those will fit an '02.
Does your have lights on them?

I've decided that running boards can be a pain in the doo dad.

We have the worst weather here in the UK for 30 years, and the roads even where they are passable are full of salty slush.

Guess where the mess collects and freezes into great lumps....thats right around the mounting points for the running boards !

I noticed a lot of road spray up the side of my truck shortly after I got it and was not happy at all. Then, I elected to install molded mud flaps (from Husky). They helped quite a lot, especially in the front where the spray would come up in front of the running board and coat the bottom of the front doors.

There's pictures of mine, and some others, in this thread: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ki...guards-kr.html

I'm sure they'd help some with the splash up under the vehicle too.

Shortly after I got my KR, I put some KR mud guards from the dealership on, as well as my running boards, and the only problem I have with them, is since they are plastic, they are slippery as hell when they are wet, and/or frozen! I like them on MY truck, AND, it makes it easier for this old fart to get in it!

I am looking for the lights mounted in the boards for my '03. Gravel has broken the lens & need to replace the light assembly. Dealer says to buy all new boards. NOT! Any ideas where/ how I can get just the lights?
