Splash guards for KR

I can't seem to locate any that will work...any suggestions? I really only need the rears since the factory running boards help alot up front. I am tired of all the crap from the road discoloring my Banks Monster exhaust. That may seem a little styrange to some, but I'm sure all you guys can understand as I 'm quite sure most of you are just as particular about your King Ranch!

Ford's splash guards

Take a look here, ford does make OEM splash guards for the F-150.

These are what I put on the rear of my KR. They work and look great.

I appreciate the help. Which ones did you order Hunter, the set of two rears for the Flareside or all four for the Styleside? And do you have any pics on the truck? I didn't see any in your gallery.

I ordered the set of 4 for a styleside. I was only able to get the rears on, becasue the molded running boards will not work with the ford mudflaps. I sold those to a friend, and we ordered a set of huskys to complete the set for both my friend and I. They are similar enough in looks & design. The huskys will work for the Factory boards, but would not work on mine due to the larger tire. There was no room to turn, so now I have a brand new set of Huskys (for the front) still in the box if anyone is interested.

I just snapped a couple of pics for ya. I'll get them loaded up here in a little while.

Did you consider painting the flaps AZ to match the lower trim?

For a brief second. Then I thought about having another painted surface where its going to get sand blasted all the time. The mud flaps also start to accumulate ice / slush were I will just take by boot and kick / flex the mud flap to get everything to fall off. With temps getting -20 below I'm not going to go through the trouble of keeping a nice paint job on those things. I have seen a few painted ones on here, but IMO the color is always off, plus, the black really blends in with the tire & underbody nicely.

I put the molded flaps on both the front and rear fenders on my truck. They REALLY help with splash in the rear. And, they reduce the splash somewhat over the running boards in the front.

They are black and I think they look just fine with the Dark Copper over AZ Beige color of my truck.

I ordered them from pickupspecialties.com. They are the Husky molded splashguards. I'm pretty sure I specified front ones for a truck with factory running boards and factory flares. Rears were to fit a truck with factory flares.

You DO have to drill holes for them, but they fit perfectly. And, they really cut down on the mud splash up on to the running board and door and on the rear quarter panel.

Here's a pic of my 2002 KR from a few years ago - I painted the backs of both the front & rear mudflaps with AZ Beige... masked off the rears with a "running w" .... used spray with flex additive.... (can't remember the name of the company that sells the paint... a search here will probably turn it up)

Still holding strong after 6 years & 68K ....
