Sounds reallygood. I like the LEDs but don't like the shape of the tails. Where'd you get them?

 

I originally got them for my 04 F150 STX Extended Cab from www.ipcw.com
They were one of the first LED tails you got get for the 04's. Of course they are first generation and are now offered in different styles.

Nice sound, nasty taillamps, but a beautiful truck none the less.

Did Ford remove a set of cats in 08 ? I ask because you note in your sig that the rear cats were deleted ?

 

Just like everyone else said......looks good but those tails ewwwww

 

To each their own... It's not my truck but, if it was, we'd have a sacrificial burning of the tail lights... It sounds pretty good though (not as good as a fire with crackling plastic though!).

Thanks for the compliments on the exhaust ! I have been thinking of changing the LED Tails, but I am unsure of what would look good ? The Clear or Red ?

What type of modes have people here done to there KR's ? In my area there are a lot of KR's but none seem to be customized.

Probably, this is due to the fact that we tend to like the "King Ranch look" and don't want to spoil it.

Many of us HAVE "modded" our trucks a bit, but we do it in ways that don't alter its appearance too much. I would not have put the bed cap on mine if I hadn't needed the covered storage space.

I don't care for clear LED tails at all. I think they look "ricey", but, it really doesn't matter what I think does it? It's YOUR truck and what matters is what YOU like.

X2.. You're choice in color for the KR is my fav.. but I think everyone else is being too nice.. the taillights just ruin it for me.. I can't imagine what led you to decide on those particular tails, I'm assuming you were going for the LED thing.. but this was a double fail in my book..

1. You don't mix rice with class. LEDs are a bit overrated imo.
2. The shape is kinda awkward with that tumor thing sticking out.

I know it's brutal.. but the truth hurts.. and those tails literally stick out like a sore thumb for your KR.

A GREAT truck to customize is a black FX4.

A GREAT way to customize your KR is to make it shiny.
