automatic transmission concern & vibration

Hello everyone, new to forum, my question is I on my 07 king ranch f150 since the first day out from the dealer I had a vibration on the steering wheel .
after balancing the tires many times and having same result, I took the truck to another dealer and I told them to fix the brake rotors( some forklift mechanic told me to tell dealer) it finally solved the problem then after a couple of thousand miles and rotations I still have that problem.

the other problem is when im going like up a hill and hit the gas I can hear and feel a clunk noise like the transmision switching or something is that normal or doest have to be always smoth??

Do you have 20" Pirelli tires?

I wonder if this is the dreaded "steering wheel nibble" that has been talked about in other threads? I sort of thought Ford had fixed this by 2007. I've certainly had problems getting my wheels to feel "balanced" in my truck.

The transmission sound isn't something I've ever had. I'd make sure both problems are well documented with the dealer - you want them to be fixed on Ford's dime, not yours.

I have the nibble in my steering wheel and I also have 20" Pirellis. I even complained about it to Ford and had tires balanced at Discount Tire. 20k later and it barely does it now. It will do it for a mile or two when cold on the highway then its smooth as glass.

Hope this helps!

thanks all... yeah trying to find a good deal on new new tires, because after balancing the tires since they were all new, 8 times now at 25k and you dont get a smoth ride... the S.A told me because you have performance tires. yeah right they never want to fix the problems .
