Still have the Bentley? Have I seen pics of it?
I think there may have been one or two on the old gallery...I'll maybe upload another.

Have now done so...pics taken in the Brecon Beacon Hills of South Wales.

It's a beauty - and so's the countryside!

But - why are you parked on the wrong side of the road?

Reminds me of Montana... very scenic. In fact, my favorite of the 42 states that I've visited.

According to the Plate, you're FLY, but not Super Fly.

Beautiful car and countryside.

Thanks...
As you may or may not know....the sale of licence plates is mega business here in the UK.
Auctions and sales from our driving licence agency are very active.

I bought the FLY plate when I got my pilots licence in 1980 and it has been on many cars though on the Bentley for the last 14 years.
I paid about £300 ($500) for it at that time. It is now listed for sale at £10,750. ($18.000)

That is relatively small fry.
Low numbers such as 3 initials and the number 1 regularly sell for over $100.000.

Some years ago a neighbour of mine told me how he had been offered the number D1 for free when the number was first issued in the early 60's., if he put it on a new car.
He turned the offer down. In the mid 80's when Lady Di was so prominent the plate was offered for £250.000.
Yesterday it appeared again for sale in the Sunday Times....price....
One Million pounds !!!

The price of vanity !!
