black chrome

Does anyone have knight chrome rims on a dark colored king ranch? I am getting rims and dont know what will look good. Chrome will always look good but im wondering if a black rim or black chrome rim would look even better.

Thanks

While I'm not a fan of either, stick with the regular chrome. Black chrome would be fine on an FX4... but not on a King Ranch.

You have a classy truck. Keep it that way

What, are you saying black isn't classy?

NCSU_05_FX4, I think your truck looks great! I just don't think the two-tone KR color schemes go well with black wheels.

Thanks!

You don't think something like that could pass on a black KR?

I'm not real familiar with the KR color combos.

"Maybe" on a black KR, but not on mine

Here's a comparison...

Original

"Badly" photoshopped your wheels onto my truck...

I don't care for it, but it's all personal opinion.

Ya know, it looks better than I would have thought on the KR red. I'd probably stay away from the black/chrome combo and go all black though.

that photoshop looks real. Do you think you could photoshop the Pro Comp Series 9047 Knight Chrome onto a black king ranch. I have no mods so any black king ranch would be fine. That is if you dont mind or if you know anyone who will. I forgot all about photoshoping

thanks

I couldn't find a suitable Black KR pic, so...

RockPick, I hope you don't mind me using yours :o

I used this wheel pic

and put it on RP's truck. The original wheel pic is very shiny, so I'm not sure how it will look in real world conditions. Here a couple to give you an idea, though

Nice looking wheel - but, I really like the King Ranch wheel better.

What I'm saying, is why get a King Ranch if you're going to get rid of its hallmarks?

They'd look great on any other 150.
