Changing the grill on a King Ranch

Quite a few of the members in this forum have replaced their grill. Some of them are very impressive. My problem is that I have a Copper KR. Does anyone have pics or suggestions? Chrome might seem tacky with my color...even though I love chrome.

Yeah, count me in, too. I'm not the biggest fan of the King Ranch grille, either. I did think of buying the stainless inserts from Cabela's, though. I have Cabela's stainless insert for the standard honeycomb grille from my 2007 sitting in my workshop collecting dust. It looks great and I had hopes of using it on my 2008 'cause a KR was the last thing I expected to order. I guess I'd better see about off-loading it soon.

It does look nice, but you have aftermarket rims...that are chrome, and it matches. I dunno, maybe I should try chrome...

Somehow, I think the H-bar grill is more "rugged" looking. But, I'd like it a whole lot more if it were real metal, preferably stainless steel. Plastic front ends really don't do it for me.

Hey KR guys. What if you got the FX2 grille, then painted it to match the gold trim. I have grey trim on my FX4, and I was thinking about PTM grey on the FX2 grille. I dont really know if it would look good, but I thought I would throw it out there, kinda get some opinions. haha.

I think the billet grilles look good even on our kr's, but the aftermarket chrome rims really is what makes them go with the truck. I think when i do my lift and wheels i might try the precision billet grille.

Read all of the posts...

You have more chrome on your truck than the 150s do... The F150 KR has matching paint on the bumpers...

Again, read where I complemented someone on their chrome rims and grill...

So how do you get in your truck bed? Fork Lift?

It is easier to use the rear tire....guess when you get a 250, you'll find that out.
