if its the oil, you may have HUGE problems...You might should have posted this in the engine forum, where the tech guru's hang out. Most people in the KR forum just talk about their seats.

just a possibility, but what you're hearing is not drone from an aftermarket exhaust?

Hi Raptor!

Actually, I was trying to draw out Lenny in a good-humored (or so I thought) way, but becerraale's attempt at "commentaries" ought to be enough to do that, LOL! In addition to being a pilot, I believe he once taught for a living. He gets grumpy when people can't spell at least at a fifth-grade level!

Internet's a strange place; people get misunderstood all the time (regardless of native language). So we'll leave it at that.

The truth is that this forum doesn't see quite as much action as the others (for obvious reasons), so any new thread is an opportunity to communicate amongst the members. And for whatever reason, it seems like things have been even slower than normal this past year or so. Maybe it's just me, but it sure seems that way.

BTW, is it possible you're experiencing a vibration? When I first bought my trunk, I took it into mountain country and got into some slushy terrain. A small deposit of mud and small stones dried inside one of the wheels and did not come off when I washed it. At about the same speed you're talking about, I would get a nasty vibration all throughout the truck. If I drove slower or faster, it would go away; it was just in that 45 mph band, plus or minus probably 3 mph or so. Now IIRC, I could actually feel it vs. just hear it, so this probably isn't your issue or you would have mentioned feeling the vibration. But since it's at least similar to your issue, it's worth tossing over the fence.

Regards,

Scott
