Well, I broke down and ordered a chrome bug shield today. I wanted to put something on before going over to the river next weekend.
Not too sure how it will look but none of the other colors seemer right. Now I need to get the tonneau cover when I figure out which one to get. I'm still thinking of the roll-up type since I have to fiberglass ones on my other two trucks and they are a pain to take off and on...

 

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DECIDE ON A BUG SHIELD OR NOT IF I DO IT IT WILL BE THE CHROME ONE,

 

Why not just getting a clear one and having it painted body color on the back side. looks great. Take a look at mine in my gallery.

I'll see what the chrome looks like and I don't like it I'll do what you did.
At this point I want something on this week and the Chrome one is due in tomorrow.

 

I'll take some pics of mine when it's daylight again, it is a Ford "OEM" bug shield and doesn't exactly match the color of the truck, but does blend in very nicely.

 

Just my 2 cents...but I bought the chrome bug shield for my 07KR, mounted it, took it off, and returned it to the dealer. Why? The sun was BEHIND me...and the glare was something fierce. Just something to consider...I didn't want to drive around and have it shining in my eyes constantly. Anyway, they look great, but personally it blinded me..
