Help me out guys... Is a part missing on my KR ?

I have a 2005 F150 King Ranch 4X4. Yesterday while I was sitting at a traffic light, I glanced down at my lower front passenger area. This area is about where the front passengers right ankle would be. There is a black cover over the fuse box. My question is whether there should be a tan kickplate over the covered fuse box area. If not, I am wondering why they have two vertical slots on the kickplate that is located between there and the door opening. In another words... does your truck have a tan kickplate over the black fuse box door?
Thanks all.

If you had service done recently I'd be talking to your shop...

The truck has never been back to the shop. I ordered it new on the Z program, have had it for two years, and only have 7K miles on it. My wife drives the truck two miles to work. It's still under warranty, but doubt the factory will believe a dealer at this point.

Well, it's just a small bit of plastic, so it shouldn't cost you (or your dealer) too much to "replace." Might even want to check some salvage yards or something like that.

BTW, my '05 has just over 9k miles. Very little in the way of wear since the day I drove it home. About the only thing that has visibly aged is my bed liner. Guess I should have done the research and gone with LineX instead of RhinoLiner...
