Anyone have a pre '04 power rear slider?

I think Brad may have had one on his previous KR. What does this install typically entail? What make? Where to buy? Most importantly, how much$$$?

Thanks for any imput.

I certainly think that Brad discussed this issue many moons ago so no doubt he will stop by to help.

However can I ask why you need one ?
I had one for 2 years on my first '01 and think I used it once, and then only to reassure myself it worked, not for any useful reason !

Yep... I installed one... used it ALL THE TIME. In fact, I used it so often that it was a necessity on my 05' (heck, I just used it 15 minutes ago at lunch!).

Install... not terrible but definitely a two man job. Removing the old window was really the only 'difficult' part. I figured out the wiring such that it would still work with the window relay stuff (you know, the windows work until a door is opened after turning the truck off)...

I know that's not a wealth of information on the topic but, if you have some specific questions, feel free to let me know...

Lots of info here...
Some here too...

Thanks for the link. I buy supplies from CR Laurence for my business. Never realized they sold them. Thanks again.
