Al from Chesapeake, VA. Just traded in my 02 Avalanche for a 06 Copper King Ranch. Love the 20 inch rims and tires. No mods yet, but as a former AV owner, you know they are coming. Looking forward to being a member

I just traded my 02 North Face Avalanche, almost a 100k with no problems,
engine or drivetrain. The cladding was starting to get a little rough and the
tonneau cover but overall great truck. I might have stayed with
chevy if they had done some exterior and interior upgrades. The Ford is a
different feel from GM, taking a little getting use too but pleased so far

Howdy,

My name is Ron and I reside in Avon, CT. I have about 1200 miles on a new '06 white KR. I ordered it to get the options that I wanted. No modifications yet, thinking of getting a programmer for enhanced towing.

Regards,
Ron . . .

I purchased my 2002 Chestnut KR 4x4 this summer and love everything about it. Had to drive almost 6 hours to buy it off some used car lot in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.... couldn't find a chestnut one in East Texas. Truck came with a real nice Astro bed cover (carpeted, light, key lock, etc..). I plan on driving this puppy for a while.

Hey, we're getting some new members that recently purchased the classic KR. Welcome all! Be sure to vote in the poll called New vs. Old in Fireman_KR's post. Looks like the "old" is catching up!

I know EXACTLY what you mean Aggie, it took me two years to find my '02 in Chestnut...well worth the wait though!

Just dumped off my 2005 Titan for a new 06' King Ranch with 20"s and the works. My first Ford since the 80's. The leather has got to be the best I have ever seen in a truck. Great site.
