Got my new '05 King Ranch!!!!

I've been wanting one of these forever. Got it this weekend as a surprise college graduation gift from my grandmother and my mom and pop. I'm still uploading pics, but here's a preliminary one:

You're not kidding. We'd had the truck in my sig since mid 96 and I'd been driving it since I turned 16 in early 1999. I was always told that when I graduated college, they'd look at getting me a new vehicle but not a moment til then.

About 6 months ago we started talking about new vehicles. I was so excited about a new truck, that I didn't really care what kind I got. I really began looking hard at the 4x4 STX (our budget wasn't very big). I liked those and began picking out colors when we stumbled across a black KR just like the one I got. We talked about how great of a truck it was, but how it just wasn't going to be possible to get something like that on the budget we had.

Enter grandma, who wanted to give me a chunk of cash for my graduation. She knew how much I wanted the KR so when my parents found a black one in Houston, grandma put down a huge up front deposit that made it affordable for my parents to give it to me as a gift.

Of course, I don't have the big chunk of cash I could've had, but I probably would've blown that on something stupid anyways.

This truck is the most awesome vehicle ever. Now I just have to sell the old one.

Your truck has a twin in Florida!

I picked mine up yesterday afternoon from Galloway Ford, Ft. Myers, Fla.

So far it's terrific. I'm planning a few stereo mods, maybe a chip, maybe lowering springs/shackles. We'll see.

The red truck has 110,000 miles and I'm asking $7500. It's in good condition.
