KR Handles COMPLETE!! W/ Pics

I started a project a couple weeks ago with my Local Upholstry shop and they are finally done! All of my "oh sh*t" handles have been covered in KR leather and they look identical to the ones in the Super Duty KR.

I'll get some good pics over the weekend. This is a real nice addition to the truck. Makes the Seats tie in with the rest of the truck. Next plan is to do the Trim around the radio.

I'm looking forward to the pics. Where did you find the leather? Did you have to buy the whole cow or did you get a smaller section?

Dave...

That's a nice touch and I'll bet you won't find it on any other KR anywhere. That is until someone out there copies it!

Well done!

I was going to have the doors done, but the leather is too thick to work with. So the upholstery shop is looking for an alternative to the leather. They think they can get some vinyl that looks identical. Any Ideas?

KR,

My new '05 KR has a simulated leather that is vinyl on the door panels, maybe getting your hands on some of that would work.

Just a thought...BTW, pretty cool looking OS handles. It could be like riding a real bull, got real leather handles, hehe.

Later,

~DM~
