Cleaning KR Running Boards

What do my fellow KR owners suggest for cleaning the running boards on our trucks? I thought Fantastic would work better than it actually did. Do they still make the original Armorall Cleaner? I know that stuff is pretty tough.

Thanks,
Ron

Do you have a 'BIG LOTS' nearby? The reason I ask is because lately, they have the stuff that I'd recommend. The reason it's sitting at Big Lots is because it's a discontinued item from Meguiar's...

It's called EXTRA. It comes in a purple bottle and works great.

I, too, liked the armor all multi-purpose cleaner but, I don't think they make it any longer...

Normikg,

Get a "Mr. Clean Magic Eraser". I know, I know, it sounds a little fruity, but the way that these things clean stuff will BLOW YOUR MIND. There has got to be some super secret alien ingredient that is responsible for its cleaning power--you just won't believe it until you try one out.

Its freaky good...and cheap, too. Work great on a multitude of surfaces.

That's a darn good idea IceKing. My wife bought one of those the other day and went bonkers going around the house just hunting for things to clean. She loved it.

Of course, being the resident truck cleaning guru, I started brain storming to see if this thing could be benefical to my passion of detailing but, I couldn't really isolate a need for it... but, I didn't think about the boards.

Thanks for the info. Can I buy them at the grocery store or do I order them online?

Thanks,
Ron

Grocery store or Wal-Mart would have them. I think those might work really well...

If not, you might have to get a bit more agressive with chemicals...
