Well, actually my middle name is... uhh... well yeah, it is Bubba.

I really wish I knew where this guy was getting these. He is actually located in my home town where I was born and raised. I could EASILY go by there and check these out sometime when I'm back in Madisonville...

His store front, I'll tell you, is a block building. Nothing fancy at all and really, you can't even tell it's a store. I've talked with this guy a few times on other ebay KR items that he's listed and he won't reveal where he gets his hands on them....

I will tell you this, it's definately not limited to KR items. He's had everything from Navigator seats to Econovan seats.... It does seem to be limited, somewhat, to FoMoCo vehicles from what I can tell. I'm not sure if he has an 'in' with 'LEAR' (the company that makes all of FoMoCo's interiors) or what but, one thing is for sure, he has SOMEONE on the inside!

Those seats would make a perfect in home movie theater. All you need is a 5.1 surround sound system and a 5 foot HDTV and you could start charging an admission to watch a flick.

Sorry, no greasy popcorn or candy allowed while seated. Also, must be excused to pass gas...

LOL, I crack myself up...

From the looks of the items inside the store, it looks like a pawn shop.

Nope. Just a building...

He seems like an honest enough guy though... Like I said, I've talked to him a few times via email.

He claims he got these seats from a guy up in Michigan. He originally wanted to put them in his F350 until he realized the pain it was going to be.

One thing that I noticed about the seats that are different than mine is where the seat switches are located. The color of the plastic matches the color of my seats. His plastic is beige?.

The beige plastic was used when the KR was first introduced.
By the second model year it had changed to a color more like the seats.
Several other small changes also occured such as different grab handles.

Cheers

I'm gonna venture a guess that they got those from a wrecked vehicle. They might watch the wrecking yard for luxo vehicle parts. The seats appear to be used with scuffs and imperfections. They are still in pretty good shape though. I doubt they's fit in an 04. I would imagine the bolt paterns and seat dimensions are totally different.

Like Lenny mentioned, the 2001 model actually had beige plastic (mine does). 2002 is when they went to the brown.

I think the seats are pretty new though. Yeah, I see the scuffs and such... and that one spot on the console but, the seatbelts still have that yellow tape around them.
