does anyone have a picture of the pads in question.....I drove with the windows down and the radio off and I deffinately heard the rattle.......my bed is completely empty so it wasn't something rolling around.....just want to know what to look for when I am under the truck tonight....sorry that black and white doesn't help me much.

The B&W didn't do much for me either however; after looking under my truck where the bed mounts to the frame I was able to better determine where, exactly, I was needing to look.

You'll see it.... you're certainly mechanically minded...

My bed rattles, squeaks, knocks and bangs all the time and now I have King Ranch #3 . Thats good for Ford because they get payday from my Payload.
On a more serious note, my box on my truck really squeaks and bangs. Up here in Alberta, Canada there is alot of rough gravel roads and I travell them all the time, and with 7 80 pound bits jumping up and down theres nothing left of the box after 6 months anyway that is why it will be time for a new one in 2 months. this one is pretty well shot and it will be time for another King Ranch.

The Fix

Ford fixed my truck last week under warranty. They actually placed two rubber shims between the bed and frame and supposely a better fastening system. Mine are still hanging in there with no ratlles
