Unhappy Bed Rattle

Recently purchased F-150 King Ranch and can't believe the noise the bed makes. Took it back to dealer and removed the bed to find rubber pads had slid off to one side, replaced them and within one week same noise has returned. Agiain pad has slipped out of place. Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out, Ford has the front bed bolts to far back. Take a look at other models and compare. Hopefully they can find a cure for this or has anyone heard of one? Just open the back sliding window and drive down a rough road or in my case our neighborhood addition works HAHA. I am sure I am not the first to complain but what a disapointment, com'on FORD what gives?

The pads are a very common problem on the beds. This isn't the first time I've heard of this problem however; I don't have any problems to date. Nice and quiet back there....

And I'm with you on that Mike... my bed used to rattle until I got married... geesh.

LOL...

Oh, it rattles... just not as often.

Only 22K on my 2001 KR... I'm not in my truck very often...

Say... from my calculations, it appears that an air mattress would fit nicely in the bed of the truck. Anyone?

I'd like to have a BedRug but, they only come in Grey...

If they were available in tan, I would've already had one.

brad, my bed started a metalic rattling right after i bought my truck and it was indeed those pads. fortunately mine has been okay since dealership put pads back in place around a year ago. btw, where exactly are those pads?? i've looked but haven't found?
