Geesh, do I ever dread / look forward to that. It's a blip on the radar screen but, if all things go according to plan, it'll be another few years.

Mike... all is well. Zero worries. We'd love to see you on the list of 'interested parties' if and when the shirt/sticker and club come to be if you are interested.

You're 110% right about the friends and family. Life is way too short not to enjoy what you have and enjoy those that are around you.

I've got a lot that I want to say but the words don't seem to want to flow tonight. Imagine that, the long-winded 'Rockpick' with a version of writers block. LOL!

Ya know, you're right. I think your comments did drag some folks out of retirement.

Actually folks. It was all a staged act. Mike and I planned this a while back and finally made it a reality in the recent weeks.

You're a damn good guy Mike.

but, you're still not getting my Bud Light. LOL!!!

can I take us back to the original topic of custom ovals here for just a moment because I am having issues with the ones I made Mom.....I made her white ones to match her truck and used envirotex stuff to seal them.....they looked great for the first couple of weeks...piant matched beautifully....but now they are yellowing...they like like crap....just curious what kind of calking stuff to use....gone rip them off and try again.

You mixed the envirotex with too much resin.

I doubt you'll be able to 'pry' the old envirotex out. You'll probably have to come up with new emblems.

You might be able to but that's not the same material that is inside the emblem when you first pulled it apart.

This stuff is MUCH more rigid and hard.

I've heard of others trying with little of no success.

Yep. You can definately try to remove that stuff but, I'm pretty much certain that the 'heat trick' isn't going to loosen it up.

Think about how often you see a table coated in that stuff sitting outside in direct sunlight. It might get 'slightly' soft but, prying it out might be a huge problem.

I do kind of like the idea that dufunnel used. Clear silicone definately wouldn't turn colors as long as it has a seal all the way around the outter edges (or at least I don't think it would). Only problem I forsee is getting it to lay generally flat when it dries. Seems to me like there might be a 'glob' on the spot where you pulled the silcone away after using the gun. *shrugs*

I'm sure dufunnel's doesn't. Might pick his brain on how he pulled his off.
