Hey... I never told you I was going to sell you my set...however, they were for sale. It just would've been cheaper for you to go to the stealership and buy three new sets.

I kept a close eye out for a set... they just never materialized until you got your KR. *shrugs*

I can't post my mothers emblems because the picture would show incomplete mods and this is disturbing for her. But my friend Steve has finally modded his Explorer and wishes to share his accomplishment.

Here's what you all have been guessing on for the past few days. They are custom painted Ford emblems. I did these myself with an idea sparked by 'FIFEL' from the other site. I have to give him credit; he performed this modification first to his Estate Green KR.

Chestnut Brown Metallic Custom Painted Front Grille Emblem

Arizona Beige Metallic Custom Painted Tailgate Emblem

Now, what do you all think? I know it's not a 'totally original' modification but, I think it looks awesome.

I'll take some pictures of them re-installed tomorrow night as they need to sit for another day/night in order to cure.

One more picture...

Both Emblems: Side By Side

I can't wait for these to cure. I want to install them **NOW**!!

PS: I'm working on another 'painted project too'. I'll attempt to unveil that one tomorrow night too.
How did u do this any way u can do a step by step or something
