Cheap KR

I was looking on ebay and saw a King Ranch that is going cheap! A 2002 for 22K. It does not say anywhere on the auction it is a KR, but it is. Idiot must not know the value!!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6219

If the link does not work, go to www.ebay.com and do a search and put in item #2401601740

It's not a KR sorry, look at the wheels and the pinstripe. We had one of these a while back and RockPick of all people mistook it.

ok, uppon further observation, it does look like a KR. The pin stripe appears to be some sort of off road sticker thing. What I'm suspicious about is it is an 01 not an 02. The wheels have been changed out for sure.

Looks to be a kr. the two tone paint looks right and it does not have the trim pieces on the doors like a lariat does, and all the plastic is tan on the exterior.
Didnt the 2002 models have the automatic climate control though?

All I can offer is the old adage, "if it seems to good to be true, it probably is". Somethings hokey with this deal. No way should a 4x4 KR with low mileage and mods (wheels, tires, grills, hard tonneau) go for that amount. If you find out anything out about this deal post it.

I think it's a real KR, but it's just a chestnut one. The price seems a little high to me, given the ugly color.

Why do you say it is not a KR? It has the correct paint, all the arizona beige plastic pieces and most of all what makes it a KR, the interior seats.

The mistake that someone else made was on a wrecked Supercrew and after inspection, did not have KR seats and had Lariot paint. The only thing that that guy did to make it like a Lariot was put the sport wheels on and changed all of the plastic pieces to the arizona beige. But that other "wreck" was not a KR, even though he told everyone it was.

This one may not have the KR rims, but I have seen a few KR's that people traded the wheels and put aftermarket ones on.

I have emailed the seller asking questions.

It may be an 02 as the climate control was late available and I have seen one other KR that didn't have the auto climate control. Was it actually a feature in 02 or was it an option?

My King Ranch didn't have any pin stripes, but I added one my self to be different. Those are aftermarket rims.

It is a KR or someone spent alot of money on this truck!!

Look at the interior.

Also, I think the seller just does not really know what this vehicle is worth as it mentions no where that it is a KR edition, but under the description of color, it says brown interior!

Well, now I see someone bid and the reserve was at 19K, this seller is either really rich or is just plain stupid! Even if it was an 01, I would think with 17K miles, it would sell for more. What do you all think it will sell for since it is now fair game? 20 hrs left!

Alright alright, I jumped a little too soon on my initial statement.

It is a 2001. Two features that are distinctly different on all 2001 and 2002 models: the rear King Ranch tailgate emblem (missing) and the brown seat plastic (tan in this one). This makes it a 2001. The pinstripe has obviously been added and some other things modified, but other than that it is most definitely a King Ranch.
