Not exactly replacing the crossmember. But when I get their the whole rear end is going to be torn off lol
I bought the truck for $13k, so far about 6k into it. I plan on keeping this for a long time.

How many miles are on it? That's not a bad price at all, unless they're super high. I plan on keeping mine indefinitely, so I'm right there with ya!

I bought it at 88,000 and currently am sitting at 101,000~
When it goes kaput, I'll drop a new engine, when the tranny goes out, new tranny.. I'm basically going to build this into a luxury pre-runner, over time. I love this bodystyle of ford, and the f-150's are only getting (to me) more terrible looking / futuristic. For Ex. the new 2015 f-150, ugly as all hell. But to each their own.

Damn, you got a pretty good deal on that. But that's exactly what I intend on doing with mine (minus the pre-runner stuff), and for the same reasons. I couldn't agree with that more and I say those same things myself. I think all of the new trucks are uglier'n sin, and the Ford is second ugliest only to Tundra
