Truck looks cool. I like the red lettering on the sidewalls.

Thanks! They're brand new! With General you have the option of going with red letters or white. Reverse side has black. I went with red cause the theme is red / black.

What lift do you have? Fabtech or Procomp? That thing looks great. Can't wait to lift my 2wd. Welcome too!

It's a Pro Comp lift. It came with the truck when I bought it off the previous owner. It's all looks, though. Huge coilover spacer and extended spindles, with blocks on the rear. That'll all be gone this year.

Thanks! I recommend if you're going to lift a truck, do it right.

Just got this kit and it'll be going on next month.

I'm not a fan of the spacers either, so I'll likely be getting the stage II Fabtech and eventually doing a body, which I also hate, but I want/need 10"+ for the look I'm after and there's no other way to get it without a stupid Third Coast or Bullet Proof. My leafs are unlevel right now too, so new leaf packs are gonna have to go in at some point too.

Lifting a truck and doing it "right" usually means lifting a 4wd

That's a badass kit though. Mine is a little pavement princess, but I can easily see myself blowing more cash on UCAs just for the hell of it.

I used to have a 2001 F-150 with the Fabtech 6" lift and body lift on 35's. It didn't look bad at all, and I romped that thing in the desert. Thank god I never broke any of the stock ball joints..

Hey hey now, you don't have to have a 4wd to be a badass truck.

The 7.0 kit I am putting on is temporary. I plan to go full long travel, linked rear, redo the gearing, add some headers, then supercharge this thing. Then full cage it.

Time + Money.. can't wait.

Most people are fine with 6" and 35s, but 4wds are 2" taller, so 6" is like 4. I love a 4wd with an 8" lift and 37s, that's perfect to me. 6 and 35s is what everyone has, so I just want that little extra.

If you're out there desert running, you definitely don't need 4wd. I'd like it, but I'd never use it, and I certainly wasn't paying an extra $3k for it haha.

That's a hell of a temporary set up though. Why not just wait out a little longer to go full long travel so you aren't wasting any money? My exterior is nearly done save painting the rest of my door handles and getting PTM bumpers. I've got long tubes and full 304 SS all the way back. Got more money in that damn exhaust than a base lift So I'll be doing the lift, another set of wheels, 4.88s, and probably leave it alone as far as major stuff goes, and move the mods on to a Mustang.

You've got awesome plans for yours though! But oh my gosh, money, money, money! I've got over $8k in plans and I've already spent 5k Need to get off my parents' insurance to lift it, otherwise it'd be in the air right now . . .

Ya it seems like 6" with 35's is what EVERYONE has haha.

It's a good temporary setup. May last me a year? Not sure, I bought it used and just powder coating it brand new.

Money money money! I probably spent $4,700 since the beginning of this year. Definitely gonna tone it down until the summer.

Does your truck have a level stacked on top of the strut spacer, or Bilsteins for another 2"? Yours looks taller than a normal 6" on a 2wd, but may just be the angle. Either way, it looks really good.

Ahh, so you got a deal on it! Now I understand why you're going with that. That's gonna be really BadA

Do you mean since like early January you've spent that much?! Glad there's someone just as crazy (or craziER) than me I spaced mine out over a year and a half probably.

This is the exact kit that is running on it right now.

6" - It does seem taller though.. My front definitely sits higher than the rear, dunno what's going on there - I just plan to get rid of it. I don't like these kits. Either go stock or put real suspension on. IMO

Ya. I got the whole 7.0 camburg kit for $2k, retails around $3.5k - Once I get an extra $10k I can do long travel... lol

New job = fun money for the truck.

So you're even replacing the crossmember and everything? Hell, you're gonna blow past the purchase price of the truck, depending on mileage!

You're in Cali, so Cali-leanin is more acceptable haha. It drives me bat sh*t crazy though.

I'm gonna be so bad with spending money once I get a real cash flow . . .
