Wet Okole Seat Covers

Well I ordered some Wet Okole's... I got them in solid black with charcoal piping... Does anyone know how easily they go on with 40/20/40 seats?

Does anyone have any tips and tricks to getting them on?

I'm not sure about the 40/20/40, but I installed them on my 02 which was a 40/60. They took some work. They're a "perfect" fit so you have to tug and pull and push and work them a bit to get them just right. At first when I just put them on, I wasn't all that impressed (I had the black with charcoal inset and charcoal piping). Things didn't line up. But once I really worked on them and pulled them in place, they were great. My only gripe was the piping on the edge of my drivers seat wore out. Obviously, thats my fault with the way I get out of my truck, but the rest of the seats held up fantastic and they clean like new if you use the stuff. Oh and I had my seats out to do the install. I was installing a stereo at the time. This made it easier to get leverage in all the directions I needed it.

Hmmm...

Sounds like loads of fun...

I just need to clean the interior of my truck and the exterior and paint it all up.

*Sigh* When will the work end?!

Haha. You'll be very pleased! Its well worth it. And with yours being the 40/20/40 it might actually be easier!

In a few weeks, I shall let you know...

I cannot wait to get them... I dunno if you've ever worn a neoprene wetsuit, but the feeling is amazing, as in really comfortable.

I dunno why neoprene isn't a factory choice for seat coverings... plus it is water resistant, and super easy to clean... plus it is really comfortable.

I've never worn one actually. But I did love my seats. Haven't done it to the new truck yet. They definitely made the old seats a lot more comfy. Down here in San Antonio, they could be a bit on the warm side, but not too bad. And the hardest part really was waiting for the seats to come in! Look forward to seeing pics.

Yeah, wetsuits/neoprene as itself is designed to keep a swimmer or diver warm. So it will be a little warm just sitting on it. But come to think of it, having extra warmth in my climate during the winter time is really nice.

Heck, I just custom ordered a wetsuit and when I got it, and it was like 80F, when I put it on to make sure it fit, I felt like I was going to die from how warm it was keeping me... But when you get in water, it really is different. Mind you its only a 3/2 mm wetsuit. And is meant for mildly cold waters... Like found in upstate ny during the cooler months of spring/fall when I got kyacking or playing on the water.

I will post pictures for sure.... But I seriously cannot wait, lol...

Well, I got them on. It took me about 4 hours to get them on with the seats installed. I did it carefully so ot would come out great. They look and feel simply amazing. I will post photos soon.

Yes, pics! I really need a set for my truck. My dog is destroying my back seats and I'm destroying the front

Are there any other kinds?

Oh come on Manual, if you dive you know it's not really the neoprene that keeps you warm, its the thin layer of water that suit traps against your skin that keeps you from losing heat as quickly.

Oh yeah, get some pics up already!

Here they are... I never knew how hard it was to take decent full shots of seats until now...

But I can say they are comfortable beyond what I imagined.
