2004+ seats in a 97-03?

Anyone ever done a full 04+ seat swap into a 97-03? I would like to swap in all 4 black leather seats into my 2000 scab.

Yeah, i know... but they look like crap, and the 04 black leather ones are plentiful.

The seatbelts are different in the two so youd have a whole in your headliner plus i think that the floor pans are just different enough to make it not work. what you might try is putting the seat frame from your truck on the newer seats that may work.

Hmm... ideas, ideas. I was just hoping someone has already done this so they can tell me what i need to do before I invest in a set of seats.

ANYthing is possible...Now, worth the money, time, and fab work? Doubt it. And yeah, the seats suck. They're uncomfortable.

Yeah, but its either these or Harley seats. And Harley seats are expensive. I HATE my grey cloth, and want black leather.

What would it cost to have your seats re-covered in black leather?

That seems like the obvious choice to begin with, getting your seats recovered.

NBS seats don't seem uncomfortable to me at all. I like them. I think they also look awesome.

I don't know if you still can, but you used to be able get full factory leather skins off ebay for the 97-03 seats. They were either new or practically new.
