u sound like u know from experiance ,ok so i wouldent have a problem makin my glow blue and them possabily being seen from the side windows??? just wounderin if its a risk to take

 

Thats thinking outside the box i like it! Lucky for me i found this wile i have my dash out getting it ready for paint. im 4sure gona do this before it goes back in. Thanks for a good idea

no i was a volunteer and ran some lights. they dont mind red if youve got a permit but where im from blue is pretty serious to be flashing.

you can have as much blue as you want glowing. my whole interior is blue and last time i got pulled over nothing was said. if you have a bunch of those LEDs on the dash and blinking, then you have a problem

 

yea i can understand blinking being an issue, im just going to do exacty how he did his in red but just let them glow blue to match my blue neons i got in the floor, so itll just be glowing, u shouldent get issue for that can u? just woundering what u guys think?

 

Spent many years on the road trucking and have always had accent blue or red lights which were always clearly viewable by cops if they looked and never had one issue.

 

I've had no issue with blue in my truck! But theres hundreds of places to put leds;I have one for lighter; one in each cup holder; one for each interior door handle; glove box; The list can go no and on.

 

yea i got blue neons under my dash lighting up the floors, but i wasent sure if blue leds in the air vents and it being more visable then the neons on my floor from the window if i would have and issue, i dont think i would

 

how did u wire these up in the vents where to did u wire yours to

 

not to revive a dead topic or anything but yes the LEDs still work a year later to the haters! and i wired them to my interior lighting with a switch.. one of these days i will do a better write up
