2001 F-150 seats??

I just did the swap myself. I went from a 60/40 bench cloth to the Eddie Bauer bucket seats with heat and console.
The fronts swap right in... Except you have to tap a couple holes with two different tap sizes, two for the console and one for the seat.
Then on to the back seats. They are the same seats except that the frame for the f150 doesn't tilt forward to give access to the back like the one on the expy does. The 60% side in the back is a straight bolt in but the 40% you will have to take the seat back and bottom off the expy rail and bolt them onto the f150 rail and this was a little bit of a pain as you had to almost take the seat apart to get to the 4 bolts.
I can post some pictures if you would like of the bolts on the seats. I still have the old ones taken apart so I could post pics as to the whole process to take the seats apart.
Here are a picture of the Expy seats in the F150!!!
I guess the dog thought she was going for a ride
I can post a ton of pics about taking the seats apart and if you want i will go out and take pictures of the back seats too!!
Good luck and let me know if i can help you
Post pics when you get done!

I have a set of Expy Eddie Bauer Tan Leather bucket seats (Captain chairs like the pictures he posted) along with the full length center console for sale... They are dirty and the drive side has 2 tears in it, but it would be a good start for you and you can get the re-covered

You can find the tan leather rousch covers everywhere on ebay. The grey ones are hard to find though. I think there like 279.99 for the whole set of expy covers. Cheap way to recover f150 seats.
Heres the link.

Ok, I've been doing some research on these conversions. I'm wanting to go from the 60/40 bench to 2 bucket seats, BUT I've got a 01 F150 XLT but it has the manual shift 4 wheel drive. Is there a console that will not go all the way up to the dash so that I can still use my 4 wheel drive?
thanks

when i bought mine, i unknowingly got the widetop console, and lost the use of my armrests on the seat. but just recently found a decent shaped narrow top & just installed that one. now im thinking of hacking up my lightning seats & making it a 2 seater with the widetop.

You could theoretically do the 04-08 F150 seats or the 03-08 expy seats but it would take alot more work. You would have to reuse your existing frames, and drill holes to match the ones on the bottom of the seats. Its possible, but not easy compared to swapping 97-03 f150 seats with 97-02 expy seats.

Thanks for your response, so if I understand you correctly my options are:
1997 - 2003 f 150 seats will fit - no issues
1997 - 2002 expedition will fit - no issues
2004 - 2008 f 150 will fit with work, drillinlg new holes and cover old
2003 - 2009 expedition will fit with same work as above.
What about f 250 or f 350? will they fit?
Also, if the seats come from an 1997 - 2003 and they are factory they are ALL interchangeable?
Thanks again, the answer will save me a lot of time and grief, who wants to call the dealer !!!
