I'm actually battling this right now. I've stuck a close hanger up in there like 3 or 4 inches and didn't hit anything, but due to it being so long I couldn't get it in there any further cause it kept hitting stuff in the engine.

Mine drips, but not alot.

I crawled under and took a look at the drain tube on my 2005 and that thing has to be well over a foot long. You guys might want to post something in the HVAC section and see if someone knows what ford recommends for cleaning out the tube.

Also, here is a link to a thread that refers to TSB (07-13-5) regarding 2004-6 models and problems with the AC drain causing water to leak back onto cab floor. Hope this helps, Keeks

sounds like AC drain to me,

i stuck over a foot of 8g speaker wire into mine and it helped, still not perfect. Ideally use something like a brake cable chucked to a cordless drill, and spin it once it is inside the drain tube.

How did you ever get your carpet dry?

I just ran 6ft. of 9guage wire up in there. But today is too cool to test to see if it cleared it.

holy **** you guys. i ended up tearing my carpet out and figured out that where the ac drain goes threw the fire wall the tube was leaking and jsut pooring into my floor.. well.. i didnt know how to fix it so i took it to the shop.... $450 DOLLARS LATER. no water leak! pretty up set about the price. i could probaby rigged something up for it not to leak for 20 bucks and been just as happy.

And like keeks said, its not the heater core if it doesnt smell like antifreeze.
From the looks of the pics yours is clear clean condensation water. thats the ac drain.

haha. ya'll wana know some crappy luck. my warranty ended last week(had no clue) and they didnt wana help. oh well =/ last time i delt with them they helped me out alot. a bolt broke on my header so they pulled the bolt out and put a hole new header and they acadently dented my oil pan and they put a new one on all for free.. but this time when i went up there everyone was rude.

dealerships are so dumb. i travel an extra 20 minutes past the one in my town becasue of my EXHAUST LEAK and they told me that my REAR END was going out and they wouldnt help me becasue my BODY lift changed my DRIVE SHAFT angle.. we just laughed in there face and left.

There is a lot to be said about good service, i actually prefer to drive 25-30 min to another dealer to get good service, and the oil change is actually about six or seven bucks cheaper. I probaby spend about ten dollars more to go there with gas expenses but the ten bucks is well worth the friendly and curteous service i get there. They get the truck in and out fast too, whereas at my local dealer i have to leave it in the morning and pick it up at noon.
I stopped going there after they told my mother why doesnt she take her truck to the dealer she bought it from when she took it in for a transmission malfunction and they had to warranty the tranny and install a new one. That was the last straw for me.
