Wet Okole Seat Covers
Wet Okole Seat Covers
Howdy,
I'm looking into getting some Wet Okole neoprene seat covers for my truck. My 02 Supercrew doesn't quite have 50,000 miles yet, and the entire truck is in outstanding condition, but I kinda want something to protect my cloth seats. I plan on driving this truck until the wheels fall off, and want to keep the inside looking good.
Everyone is always telling me how **** I am about my truck's interior (mainly my wife! haha) and sometimes I feel like an *** telling people to put down a towel before getting in with dogs or wet bathing suits. I think neoprene is the way to go here. They're not cheap, but most things worth their money aren't, so I think I'll like them.
Anyone know if the Wet Okole swatches/brochure are free?
Thanks in advance.

yes they are. you can request some some swatches and they will mail them to you. as a previous wet okole owners, they are amazing. had them in my '00 Explorer and loved em. only downside, at the time i played rugby, they r somewhat had to clean. u have to handwash em.
At least you let them in! No wet clothing in either of my vehicles, let alone animals! Good luck in your hunt!

I was going to get these covers as well, but apparently they do hold in water.
I landed up getting synthetic leather covers for a fraction of the price of the Okoles. These are waterproof and look like leather but come without the maintenance of leather. They apparently won't crack. There are pics in my gallery.

I think I paid $449 shipped to my door when I bought mine.
I put a pair of them on my truck seats just after I bought the truck. I sold the seats after about 50,000 miles on the truck. When I took the covers off, you couldn't tell any difference between the 2 seats. In fact, they looked almost brand new.
Okay, so I've seen two trucks with the Wet Okole seat covers (cousin's Tundra and friends F150 Screw FX4) and I'm totally sold. I'm going to order the fronts with my next pay check (after bills are paid, of course).
I looked at the Wet Okole FAQ and it says that the front seats "typically" do not need to be removed to install the seat covers. Can anyone attest to whether or not the front 60/40 seat in the 2002 F150 need to be removed? How about the rears (much easier to get out, but still a hassle)?
Thanks! BTW I'm getting just the regular black with charcoal center panel without any logos. It'll pretty much look stock.

i dont know abou the wet okole, bu i installed some moss motor seat covers and i tried for about an hour to get the seat covers on with them installed and it was a no go. I took the seats out, took about 5 minutes a seat to get them out, much easier
Sorry didn't see this until now. They're actually Llyod rubber tite rubber floor mats and I got them from autoanything.com. I've had them in the truck since the truck was brand new and I really like them alot. They cover the entire carpeted area so I don't have to worry about anything. The one drawback I will say for them is when I first got them they had this awful plastic smell to them that took some time to get rid of.
