It did help but that is insane on to the regulator thread.

 

great how to but did i miss something cuz i did all the steps above, i couldnt totally remove the panel since the handle would not come out and was left with the door panel resting on my knees as i removed the mirror .

still was able to complete the whole job in about 30 minutes including searching for 4 diff socket sizes

Thanks for the perfect info on removing door panel. Only took this ol'lady about 20 minutes to change out the side mirror I crunched on a mail box.
Easy as pie and no rattles afterwards!!
