Blacking out interior
Blacking out interior
Does anyone sell black dash, door, and behind the seat panels? I want to make my interior all black. I think it would look sweet. Has anyone else done this? Oh yea, I have a 2004 F150...Heritage if that matters.

All of the car stores(murrays or auto zone) or any other for that matter sell interior paint. It works on vinyl or leather. Check the can.
I am currenty repainting my leather steering wheel med parchment.
I am using color- bond paint. It is an exact match for the manufacturer colors. If you need that I can give you a phone number for single cans. I got mine from colorbondtuner.com. They only sell a minimun of 4 cans.
No reason why you couldn't do it with black that way. Mine has come out very nice in the past. About 6 bucks a can

go to an auto apholstry shop and they have vinyl dye that bonds great to plastic and vinyl. i had a 73 ranchero i did this too and it went from green to black very, very beautifully. Just make sure to get the prep (basically just acetone in a spray can) to remove any oil or dirt and spray many very light coats of the stuff and slowly build it up to get that nice, even black. the dye is very thin so it runs bad if you try to spray it like regular paint.
Much cheaper than replacing your current stuff and you could take it off with enough acetone and rubbing if you decide you don't like it. I guarantee if you do it right it will look factory if you use the right stuff.
