Tissue Holder

I just purchased a 2004 F150 FX4. The console has a tissue holder built into the lid, but I can't find the square box that would fit in it. I was talking to some other owners that are having the same trouble as me. Does anybody know if there are tissue boxes available that will fit in the space, or maybe are using the space for something different?

Tissue Holder

Thanks for the reply. I hace been looking at Wal-Mart but no luck yet. When I find them I plan on getting a few extra. It also looks like the longer boxes might fit. They might hang out the end a bit, but you should still be able to get the lid closed.

hmm I never knew they had that type of thing from the factory... Will never catch a lint spreading tissue in my vehicles though, but I would suppose asking the dealer and seeing if they can supply you,

A tissue box holder?

In a pickup truck?

Ford won't give you a cigarette lighter but, they include a tissue box holder?

What's next, a receptacle for your gonads?

I called Ford to see if this tissue box deal was true.

They confirmed that the trucks do indeed come with tissue box holders but, that you weren't supposed to load them until your warranty ran out.

lol, You've got one guy who says that he wouldn't put tissues in his truck b/c they spread lint and one guy who wouldn't put them in his truck b/c they're too girly. That's why I love this site. Maybe you could find box of lint free gun wipes or something to go in that holder. --DIY

Your local Ford Dealer has them (mine wants $2.29 for a box) or I have found them at the Target store for $0.89. (the non-OEM aftermarkets work just as well, haha).

In my '03 Supercrew, i found the Wal-mart boxes to be a little small and always be laying around in the console when i opened it. I tried some stick-on velcro and it seems to always let go after time(it gets hot inside the cab here in Texas). Finally I just reached in the holder and bent the spring out and flatter so it would hold the box tighter, now it works fine with the smaller boxes.

It may be a girly lint-spreader, but with kids it beats the heck out of cleaning a fresh sneeze off the upholstry.
