All of the used Laraits I've seen have a lot of cracks in the leather. Are you cleaning them regularly with the proper stuff?

I don't think it warranted, I believe that's considered "normal wear." However, one of the things that causes this is the fact that because the truck sits so high and the leather is slippery people tend to slide in and out of the truck. If you have a "step" or running board use it, if you don't, try to get your weight off the seat before you get out. Also, leather conditioners every now and then really help.

thanks for the reply, yes I do clean them reg. and also condition them. I have had leather before, and never had wear like this. Truck going in to have exhaust change to rear of tire exit, I think I will ask them about it, take care.

Dakota ...

This is my very first post here and I see that I am posting to a question that is months old. I wanted you to know that I have a 1998 Lariat that the front section of the leather seats has very fine wrinkles. It is very unlike any wear on the seats. It looks like crap. I have treated them and it really isn't a matter of the leather ever getting dry ... it is just rippled right under where your thighs rest. I was thinking of getting some opinions from experts and then talking to the Ford dealer about repair or replacement under warranty. What did your dealer say about it? My truck only has 11K miles on it and I too think that this is not normal wear.

Thanks
