Change seat's (fabric to leather)

Instead of buying a new truck I was thinking of doing some interior changes that I have seen on other trucks, dash, leather, console etc. And besides I am not that crazy about the 2004 ford f-150.

They look like the other pickups, chevy, dodge, toyoto. It just don't have that look that it had the past six years. Anyway I want to pull my fabric seats out of my truck, but every where I look I don't see no rear seats only the front buckets. Some of the places I looked got some radical leather seats, for about $600.00.

So I guess the best thing to do is go to the dealer and let them install them, unless someone has done this.I wanted a two tone that I seen at a few places.http://http://www.salesco.com/ is one of the placec..
Thank's JOE

About how much does it cost to have the leather interior installed? Do they recover your existing seats or what? Thanks

Yes you have to recover them just like the factory covers were installed. I dont know how much, because i do the upholstery work at the dealership i work at, and its all usually warranty.

I just purchased a complete Classic Soft Trim set from Ebay shipped to my door for $340. They look real high quality. Classic has installation places all over and they quoted me $300 for install.

I just had the stock seats in my Lightning redone in black leather with a light grey inlay in each seat. Total cost was $400.00, however I have used the same upholstery shop for several years and he really cut me a deal on these seats.

Are you talking about just the material and then you must have someone install it,right.
Is that front and back.If it is that's a good deal and get it for my truck.thanks.

Yes, this was just the kit but came with front, back and console pieces. Quality is great. Classis specializes in doing dealer upgrades so they have to be factory equivelent. I tried to install myself but it proved a bit difficult to do correctly. I took it to a Classic Soft Trim facility and they installed for $150. Looks great.

I have bucket seat's with a console between them with arm rest, will I have to lose the arm rest like you did or can they cover them.Thank's for the help.

The problem I have with my seats is that the center arm rest has no cup holders or console of any kinda, its just one fat arm rest. Is there any way i can swap it out with another one or do i to make my own? I have the 60/40 Bench Seat, btw.
