Wink

The factory fog light switch is part of the headlamp switch. It's a push-pull switch on the H/L switch.

Bill,

Isn't the 99 still in the headlight switch ?

The 01 is there, I thought that the 99 was still there as well.

It is a whole new switch, not just an add on, if they are the stock parts that you got, not just a Ford branded add-on kit.

Its a whole new switch seperate of the headlights. It is definately a Ford manufactured part. I guess I could get a switch from a junk yard.

I sincerely don't believe that it's a seperate switch. The 'factory installed switch', as you requested, is built into the regular switch. Here's the kicker, if you didn't have fogs on the truck when they manufactured it, you have a different type of switch which wasn't designed to work with the fogs.

The switch that 'is' designed to operate the fogs has a 'pull out ****' that will kick the fogs on while you have the heads on. You should be able to find one of these in a junk yard. Also, keep in mind, while you're searching, that the Expy and the F150 switch for fogs is the same thus, you could ****** one off of one or the other.

Good luck in your search.

RockPick,

There is another post from Bill on the harness, that he replied to, in the details of the Ford kit he has.

This is the Ford Fog lamp, and valance kit for adding the 4X4 fog lamps to trucks without them.

It seems as if the kit is made to work on all trim levels, which would require a new switch, less trying to play find the connector for adding this into the stock harness, is the XL even has the harness to add it to.

Bill... I've got your information on shipping. I'll try to get that figured out by this evening and get back with you.
