Can anyone recommend a brand/type of floor mat to use in my 2000 Lincoln Navigator? I need the 2 fronts and the rear as well.

The one's that came with the truck are pretty gross looking, and I am looking to either purchase a nice set of carpet ones with the Lincoln and/or Navigator embelm on them...or a good pair of heavy duty ones.

I have tried looking around on the internet, but haven't found any I really like.

 

I have seen factory ones on Ebay for the Navigator.

 

Yeah, I have seen a few sets on there...but they are mostly the wrong color...or not the ones with "Navigator" embroidered on them.

Thanks though I wan't sure if anyone knew of a good store to buy them from instead of going through the dealer.

I don't know what "look" you are going for but you might want to look at husky liners or something similiar. I've got the hl's and they kick ***. Very functional and, for some reason I always get compliments on the looks!

Funny you should reccomend the Husky Liners, I just sold a pair of those that were for my hubby's old GMC PU. We received them as a gift, and then he ended up selling the truck, so they were never even opened.

The only thing we currently use the truck for would be towing the skiis to the lake/ocean and towing our race car to the track every once in awhile. Other than that, there isn't a lot of heavy traffic.

Should I just go online to Husky and check out there prices or is there anywhere else they sell them?

I just recieved the Summit catalog yesterday in the mail and was checking it out

I think I have decided. I want to get the nice carpet ones, with "Navigator" embroidered on them (like the ones from the factory) and then get a pair of cheaper plastic ones for when we take the skiis out.

I have heard of Nifty, just never seen them in person. In your opionion, who makes the best carpeted ones? I want good quality, so they last, and ones that look good as well.

Check into the Nifty "Catch-All" Liners. I have them in my truck and really like them. They contain the water, dirt. sand so it doesn't spread everywhere in the cab. You can take them out and host them off as well.

Catch all floor mats that I ordered from a Ford Dealer over the internet. They are extremely functional and they look like they belong.

 

We put the Catch-All mats in our 02 Explorer. My wife was very happy with them because they match the carpet in the Explorer and they are waterproof and have a raised edge so that any dirt or mositure that gets on the mat stays on the mat and doesn't leaak into the carpet. They are a little pricey but you can't beat them for looks and function.

You could get both. I use the heavy-duty mats for everyday use since they can hold lots of water (and mud) and are relatively easy to clean. Then on the weekend nights I take the heavy-duty set off and reveal the carpeted mats so everything is spic-n-span and my date's heels won't get stuck in the heavy-duty mats' grooves. Sounds silly but one girl actually slipped and fell from the nerf steps. How that happened I have no idea. Nobody was wasted I swear . Maybe I used too much Armorall lol.

 

I agree with LeanNCut, get both if you can afford it. I am sure that since you are a lady, that there is a possibility that you wear heels at some times, and that could happen to you. Not sure though. Also, you might give DeeZee in Des Moines, Iowa a call (http://www.deezee.com/). I go to school in Iowa, and they got me a good deal on some Husky Liners for my F-150, they are great and I highly recommend them.
