I'm sure this has been done before, but here goes anyway. I'm having Lariat seats redone under warrantee (-2 spelling) and I wanna know what's the BEST STUFF for taking care of 'em.

Cant go wrong with Lexol

I like Meguires Gold series Leather lotion

NEVER USE ARMOR-ALL ON LEATHER.

give'em a good rub down by bare hand every 6 months.

Good luck

Thanks guys. Is Lexol a brand name? I haven't seen at the local auto parts chain stores - any suggestions where to get?

Target for sure.
I was just in there yesterday, and in the automotive section they have the Lexol.
I also saw the Meguires stuff and Armor-All Leather treatment ( Armorall in a different bottle ? ).
Stick with the Lexol, that is what I use on the car ( LS-400 ) and my leather jackets ( Hein-Gerick used to sell the Hein-Gerick branded leather treatment, and it was Lexol in the bottle ).

I think someone else told me Wally-World has it, but I never looked for it there, so it is a possiable, but not a sighted confirm.

This may be overkill but I really think that leather needs extra care.

I use Lexol cleaner/conditioner once a week and then once every six weeks I clean with Tanners Preserve Cleaner and then condition with Tanners Preserve conditioner.

This regimen works well and my parchment front seats thank me for it with softness, suppleness and good looks!

Lexol seems to be the popular choice here and on some other message boards that I've been on. I don't have leather seats, but I can tell you that the stuff worked great on my cowboy boots

Zaino

I use Lexol Leather Cleaner, BUT Zaino has a Kickazz Leather Conditioner. Plus it smell like leather, after it is on the hide.

Guys,

Almost all of you have "coated" leather. Lexol or any other expensive cleaner is only getting soaked into the rag and your pants...

It's a waste of money...

well after seeing my 2 1/2 year old leather seats in my 00 HD that get leather conditioner every month during the spring/summer/fall, and some 6 month old leather seats that have never been done in my buddy's 02 HD, thats proof enough for me that its not a waste of money when my seats looked newer than his
