Thumbs up Interior Protectant

First let me say that I am not associated with this product in any financial way what-so-ever. But I have tried that Aerospace 303 protectant on the interior of my truck and it is everything that they claim it is. It makes the dash (and etc…) look “new” not greasy, it doesn’t attract dust and it contains no silicones. Plus it is designed to last 4 to 5 weeks in exposure to sunlight. I have yet to find any bad testimonies online about this product. If you email the makers, they will send a free sample and a list of retailers in your area (almost all of the retailers that they listed for me were boating supply stores and it seems to have a huge marine fan base). Anyway, I love the stuff and thought I would share.

I still use the “evil silicone based” Armour All on the tires because the Aerospace ain’t exactly cheap and I don’t think that the “evil silicone” will do it’s “damage” before they need replacing each time, but the dash I want to keep for the life of the truck….

PS – I’m not trying to start the silicone vs non-silicone argument (there are more than enough of those if you do a search online), I use both types for different things and just wanted to add my positive experience with the Aerospace 303 to the online world because I have been so pleased with the results over the last month.

I hear the 303 is good stuff...

I'm using Vinylex on my interior... great stuff too.. but, again, it's not exactly cheap... $10/bottle at Pep Boys.

What is the technical definition of a 'plasticizer'?

It says on the container that the plasticizer acts as a moitsureizer and hleps lubricate the materical and help it to hold its color and richness. Stuff like armorall just makes it shine but will make it dry out and crack over time.

I hardly ever use any at all. When I do it's usually Armorall "Detailers Advantage". It doesn't seem to shine like most of them do. Mostly I just use the Ford all purpose cleaner, and leave it at that.,,,,,98

I have yet to find it in an auto parts store, but I have ALWAYS seen it in every boating store I've gone in.
