I've heard good things about the XB LED replacement fog lamps as a good upgrade. I haven't picked up a pair yet

As for your puddle lamps/ running board lights I'd look into tapping to the dome light circuit. Not sure if you're prewired for them in the doors. The Molex door connector/boot is a nightmare to push additional wire through.

Here's my crappy cell phone picture of my retrofit heads

I have the XB LED fogs in my truck. They're actually quite good - and waaaay better than the factory fogs.

What about swapping the HID'S for halogens off of another f150? Say you have a 2011 with the ugly halogen lamp/ballast combo. But your buddy has a 2013 with with the slick OEM HID'S and he wants to swap? Is it doable? I know you'd have to have a harness to upgrade to the HID'S, but would your buddy need a harness to downgrade to the halogens? That's my situation.

Hmm that's a good one. But I don't think you can go in reverse like that. Don't know why he would wanna down grade anyway.

That is what I did. Took out my factory Halogens, got a harness from TRS through thelariat02 and bought a set of OEM HID housings and ballasts. I love them. Buy an extra main relay for the harness though. It's like $20 but well worth it. My first one went out. I replaced it really quick and am back up and running and then bought an extra that I keep in the truck. Its just one of those things you deal with having manually upgraded lights. I wouldn't change anything. Love my HID's.
