F150LED bumper light bar installed!

After getting my last set of led's from www.F150LEDs.com I decided to get a 20" bar for in my bumper from them. This is an affordable little light that puts out some great white light. Don't buy this light if you're wanting a beam out to a 1/4 mile, but if you're looking for cool looking light that gives out some really good driving and side-to-side light, this is a great option! It's also very very easy to install, if you don't mind going the snap in route. The actual installing of the bar itself takes about 20 seconds.
I wired my existing 40" bar and this 20" bar on different switches. So I could use just one at a time, should I choose to.
Here's some pics! (None of these pics were taken with my 40" light on.)

I wonder if the light bar behind the grill cuts out any light output/projection? It looks awesome tho when it's lit up behind the grill!

I chose to cut mine out obviously but I read a lot about it and apparently the stock grilles block about 20% of the available light. They're still pretty bright even with a grille in front of them!

I'm curious. I too removed my front plate and live in Dallas. I have not had a front plate in many years and have never been stopped for it. Have you?

I also notice that your high beam pattern can still be seen even with the LED bar on. Is that normal? I would think the brighter light would make it disappear or bleed away. That makes me think the bar is not necessarily brighter persay but rather it puts out alot of light all over the place. Would that be a fair assessment?

Blue,
No sir, I haven't had any troubles with the plate (knock on wood).

The bar is definitely "brighter" than the headlights. You can see that the headlights put out an almost dirty or brownish light. The oem halogen bulbs are junk compared to these bars in every way. Brightness, better/clearer light, depth, distance... Even if I have my 40" and 20" bars on I can still make out the headlights somewhat. My buddy has a 50" rigid (yea he doesn't mind spending over a grand on a bar. lol) and we can still see his chevy factory heads when his bar is on. They have nowhere near the brightness and distance as the leds though.
Like I said in my post; if you want REAL light output then you need to go 40" or bigger. The 30" and smaller bars are more for off-roading and looks, in my opinion.

Thanks. I have been plateless on my last 3 vehicles and never been stopped. Well, not for that atleast. lol

I am going to have to get the little lightbar and maybe some LED fogs too.
