they make halo specific rings just for those specific reasons. search diode dynamics. they should have a set and they are pretty reliable.... avoid Oricle

If you measure the size of the reflectors then that should be very close, if not exactly, what the size of the halos are.

Have fun opening your headlights again in 6 months to replace them. You get what you pay for.

I don't think you under stand how much R&D and quality control go into these things. When companies like DD or TRS get there LEDs they don't just sell them to unknowing customers without testing them. they go thru every LED and make sure they actually work. make sure they aren't beat up or have Knicks. and if one did go bad they can actually warranty them. trying to get warranty from a place like EBay or Alibaba is quite horrendous.

Trust me I've been thru all of this before and have done all of the research, hence why I commented on this post. I have seen it time and time again. People try to buy cheap after we tell them about quality products and 90% of them come back 6 months to a year later saying how the cheap product failed.
But hey you do what you want not my money not my time replacing broken product, hence why my retrofit is all OEM parts no aftermarket and cost $600 just for me to build.

Well said. It continues to amaze me how many people buy headlights simply for the way they look - not the way they perform. Personally, I consider all of the lighting on my vehicles to fall under the category of "Safety Items." That said, the only modifications I'll even consider are ones that will improve the performance and not negatively impact longevity. Absolutely none of the cheap Chinese crap out there will do that.
