Question Flush mount LED's into rear bumper...

Anyone have any tips?

I just ordered 2 flush mount square LED lights to use as back up lights...

Says it needs a 3-1/8" hole. Guess I'll tape it off and use a dremel or something. Anything I can do to help prevent chrome from flaking and peeling in the future?

Also, best way to get the wires into the CAB under the dash to tie into a switch? My old F150 had a hole on the firewall near the break master cylinder. I would assume my 2013 will have one too??

1. Yer gonna need something a bit stouter than a dremel to make that hole in the bumper.

2. Wire routing (encased in wire loom). Not through the firewall, but the door sills. As shown here:

I think, depending on what's behind it clearance wise, I might try to mount them in the plastic part each side of the tag. Between where it dips in, and where the chrome starts.

Switch came today. Hopefully it will warm up enough to work on it this weekend.
