So i'm debating what style of toggle switch/push button etc. and location for it for my Lightbar on the front of my truck.

Where do you have yours and how do you like its placement??

Hey.

Carling switches in the center stack, where the lighter /
backup alarm switch is.

These rockers - with logo: http://www.otrattw.net/Switch-w-Rocker/

OR - a remote control:

That remote control is stealing my heart. I was thinking it would be nice not to have to reach up there to turn them on and off.

I say wire it up to your high beams and screw the switch.

But FWIW I had a bunch of toggle switches under my radio in the cubby that was there. It was the open cabin close to the floor on the center column.

Switches

I thought and thought and this is what i came up with. I bought these from a marine electronics supplier, bought the three gang cluster and mounted in a hole that I (very carefully) cut under the headlight switch. Good luck.

That's what I did also. Another option I like is the old school headlight toggle footswitch on the floor. Easy to turn on and off, out of sight

If you want to get serious with your switching go with the Whelen PCCR8

This is under my back seat.

This is the remote head unit with soft touch buttons that light up when you press them that controls everything.

And here is where I was talking about with the switches before I did all of the new stuff

That's a nice system! Ol' Tg150 was lookin' fer something like this. Too bad the switch unit looks so mundane.

BTW - IMHO, instead of that cheap fuse block with spade lugs, after spending that kind of dough, a ~$40 BlueSea block would be far more appropriate ( and reliable):
