That light bar is pretty damn good. Now those headlights are God awful. Dude you need a retrofit.

what do you mean retrofit? I have type 9007 55w hid 10,000k kit I really like the hid kit it is much brighter than the stock lights even being so blue I had a 6000k 35w kit in my rzr It was bright but I wanted it to be more blue I also had a 35w 10,000k kit in my Yamaha r1 and that was even more blue because of the lower wattage the 55w kit @ 10,000k is actually more like a 8,000k kit

In short a retrofit is taking a bi-xenon projector and installing it into you're OEM housing. This allows you to run HIDs without causing unfocussed and glaring light. Which is what you have right now. The better distributed light in a bi-xenon projector at 35 Watts will make your 55 watt pnp look like halogens.
Also 10,000k at 35 Watts puts out less useable light and lumens then a stock halogen.
Long story short...again. What you have now is a PNP kit blinding oncoming traffic which is dangerous.
I know you probably didn't want to hear that and will fight to prove its not blinding (like they all do), but its the truth.
Just trying to teach people the right way. You can take it however you want.

This explains mostly everything

These are retrofits themselves

I see what you are saying I actually used to have projector style headlights and I didn't particularly like the way the beam just stopped at a line at the top I had them aimed higher because of this I do think other people get the glare from my lights but I don't think its a big problem I would like to see what my old projector style lights would look like with hids but they said on the box not to use with hids I do believe they were a h1 bulb for the highs and maybe a h3 or h4 for the lows cant remember

I agree - the bar looks good - compared to the heads. Won't look anywhere near as good compared to a good retrofit. Those shots above all lack beam width ( see the beam pattern links to see what I mean), and as I said before, excessive foreground light is NOT a good thing for distance acuity.

OP - thanks for taking the time to provide those pics - it's appreciated

Ya those old projectors you had were for halogen only so i wouldn't run HIDs in them either. Real bi-xenon projectors will provide you with wider and more intense light.
Heck I'll admit getting used to a cut-off was different at first, but with good bi-xenon projectors you wouldn't have to aim then higher because you have what we call squirrel finders, and color flicker to add small amounts of light above the cut-off to see signs and sich...

I still can't stand the cutoff line .... when you are going down a hill there could be a deer standing right on top of that cutoff line and you wouldn't have a chance in the world to see it there ...... I like my crazy reflecto undirected PNP lights

^^^ You may, but yer feller drivers is a-cussin' ye a blue-streak!

The pic taken at the top of my gravel driveway was taken just for sichy scenario as ye mentioned thar, yungin. The driveway is downhill from where I'm sittin'. See the cutoff whut ye cain't stand? That cutoff is over 350' from my truck. Maybe closer to 400'. My driveway is aboot 500' long.

In this lookin' downhill scenario, if'n ye cain't dodge Bambi with 400' o' notice, yer a-drivin' too fayst, son! Slow'er down!

In a more level scenario, the light just goes and goes, and you don't even really notice the cutoff. On high beams, you REALLY don't notice the cutoff! It's just pure, beautiful, bright, usable light.
