KC or PIAA or Hella

I am going to install a light bar on the front bumper of my 08' FX4 and mount 4 auxiliary lamps. I've decided I want halogens to match the factory lights. Of these three brands, which do you recommend? I intend to wire them into my high beams. I just want more illumination for driving down country roads at night.

Ok the KCs are out of the question know. Through research I found out that they are made in China. Now it is down to PIAA or Hella. I'm leaning towards Hella. What do you all think?

Cool

Ratings are a bit misleading so asking what someone has experience with is a good idea. I've been using PIAA for years. But I think it will come down to personal preference. I have a Go-Rhino stepguard on my truck. I have PIAA RS600 HID shock lamps mounted on it. These things are wild, but a bit expensive. They shine like day and for a long ways. Problem with HID is that they have to warm up for a minute or two before they get to full brightness. I can only use them on back country roads. As for halogens I have a set of the 2100i long range foul weather lights mounted in the lower grill opening. I have been real happy with those. I have them wired independent on a wireless remote. If you get "fog" lights they are better mounted closer to the ground. "Driving" lights are better up higher.

Been doing research all day long. Went with the KCs after all. I got four 130W Daylighters (all driving lights). Apparently they are assembled here in the USA still. Was worried about getting the PIAAs considering they were a lot more money and many said that the ones I wanted were not that bright. Not a lot of good reviews on the Hellas the more I looked into them. I decided that I'm wiring them independent of my high-beams. I don't want any splices into my factory harness.

Sent the lights and bar back. The KC's looked good but I didn't like the light bar. I don't want to remove my tow hooks, and the other manufactures seem to offer weak bars. I hate the look of bull bars and brush guards on these trucks. I could fab my own bar, but don't have the time now. I figured that the KC's would probably be stolen also. I have to work in bad areas a lot. Its a shame because I was going to paint the bar and lights to match my truck.

I plan to mount an aluminum bar across behind my grill and put a couple lights in there. Also building an aluminum headache rack for behind the cab I will mount lights on. Don't like any of the manufactured racks I've seen for the price.
