what LED license plate bulbs?

I'm looking to add LED license plate bulbs to my 06 f150 and I bought theses http://www.vleds.com/bulb-number/194...21-1-pair.html but they were too long and were hitting the top of the plastic piece that the light goes into so I couldnt lock the holder for the light. What style LED bulbs are evryone using? I would like to try and use VLED bulbs because I like to color and quality of them!

I'm looking for some for my 04 as well. Have you found the right ones yet?

These are the ones I have and work well: http://www.vleds.com/catalogsearch/r...194_4_HPF_W_6K . It looks like V-Leds have dropped a few bulbs from their line-up.

Will these work on my 04?

I intend to buy the same bulbs for my truck after I repress the ridiculous $14.99 price tag. Do you have any night time illuminated photos? Or how would you compare them to the incandescent?

Sorry Darren, I don't have any night shots of these. I can tell you that they are much brighter than their incandescent brothers, but not $15 worth of bright...... I have had a set of these in for about 3 years and last year I lost one of them, don't know why, but another $15 later all fixed and have a spare.

I ordered these http://www.vleds.com/bulb-number/min...25-1-pair.html someone on the other forum said they used these and they were fine. I figured for $3 if they don't work then oh well. I will let everyone know how they are when I get them but they are on back order so I'm not sure exactly when I will get them.

The only problem with those are that they 'fire' in a straight line..in the case of the plate light that would be right into the black housing and not out the little opening. I tried them once....Not good output! The ones I referenced above 'fire' at an angle straight out the little window of the housing. Those might work well in the side marker lights on front though. Just my $0.02
