Urgently need to fix headlights

Please help ASAP. Must leave tonight on 600 mile trip. My driver side low beam isn't working. Not getting any power at all. Checked # 25 fuse: good but no power in fuse box for it. Passenger side is working but #23 fuse is same way as #25. I do not understand. BTW, I have the most basic 05 F-150 supercab made. It was a fleet truck. VERY BASIC !! Can some one please help me soon. Thanks in advance.

Check the connection in the bottom of the fuse box. If you NEED it tonight ASAP, Just go get some 8-12AWG wire and run it from the battery and tap into the headlamp socket and figure it out when you get back

Lars, I'd wait until you get back and sit back and start tracing wires. I'm sure you'll find a break somewhere.

Raptor, I am back home now and have traced wires. Found no breaks. This issue has me very confused and do not know how to fix or where else to look. Is there any ideas you may have to assist me in tracking this down. Someone mentioned it may be in my blinker switch. Before I take apart steering section, I'd like your opnion on that please. Thank you so much.

Nothing related to your headlights runs through your MFS. Also, if it was a problem with that, it would affect both, not just one.

My next step if I were you would be to get a Chilton's and find the headlamp wiring schematic and start checking voltages on wires.

1999 F250 LD XLT 140k Original Owner Same Light Problem

I have the same exact headlight problem. The drivers side low beam is out. The passenger side is ok. What I did notice is the driver side dimmed down a couple of times. I played with the harness and it got bright again. I'm not sure but I thought I read there was a headlight relay along the steering column. I might be wrong and I'm trying to back track and find. Any help would be great.
