3rd Brake Light????????

Im having an issue with my Recon 3rd brake light. It seems to be leaking. Instead of just caulking this one I think I'll just replace it. Does anybody have any experience with the Putco Pure 3rd brake light? Im looking for a smoked lens since thats what my Recon is. Any suggestions?

Putco, Spyder and Recon are all chinese crap. They all are made in the same factory in China and distributed to different sellers who list them under different names.

Well I would like to go with the Philips, but the only place I can find them in on EBAY and they look like the same lights everbody else offers. Ar those real Philips and is Eay the onlyplace to get them?

The Philips I have are genuine Philips-AGILENT Superflux LumiLEDs I bought directly from Philips and made a custom PCB setup for them in my OEM housing. So I get the awesome output without the cheap fitment of aftermarket.

Gotcha Raptor, I do like the darker lenses I have though. Id like to try and keep that. But I do see what youre saying about the fitment and also there is nothing like doing it yourself. I appreciate the info. BTW your lights ARE pretty badass.

I have a pair of the "OEM style" red transparent Spyder brand LED tail lamps that allow for your own reverse bulbs ( I have 3156 LEDs ), I bought them already smoked and clear coated by a painter. I normally do not like to buy aftermarket parts such as lights that are not up on par with OEM quality, but I have been very happy with these lights. Been through just 1 PA winter and 9 months so far, all is good. Hope it stays that way. Not bad for a non-OEM product. If you want aftermarket lights, Spyder isn't that bad imo. Nothing beats modified OEMs with quality LEDs but if you don't want to put in the involved time, not bad.

My exhaust video has a scene of them lit also, again surprisingly not bad, quite bright.
