I'll try that. I did the Bambi mod a few years ago. Do you guys know which pins to switch? There is a black in the middle and the two outers are colored. I already tried switching the two outers since I just assumed the middle was ground but when I turned them on it made a hissing noise and they didn't turn on..

Well after switching wires for what seemed like forever it finally quit working, switched to new fuses in the truck, and somehow now the switch is correct and my high light in the cluster turns off for lows! shrouds are in and I'm going to try to have it all together tonight!

Here's some pics. I'm going to let the sealant dry nice and good before putting the fronts on for good. I had to do quite a bit of trimming to the apollo shrouds but not near as much as the Gatling shrouds.. I LOVE the final look. To me it looks OEM minus the small amount of sealant that is visible (would waaaay rather have a small amount of visible sealant than something coming loose)

Thanks mike. I love them. I will have my white painted OEM headlights I had on my truck before these if you're interested. They have a clear reflector in them like these. Only difference is theyre OEM and have the standard chrome bucket.

I appreciate it but I have a set waiting for this mod. The whole headlight will be white, reflector will be white with some type of template outline. Going with the Gatling (sp?) gun surround which I will be painting flat black. Was originally going white and chrome on my truck until I got a set of your tails. Now it's stormtrooper all the way, I blame you lol.

Thanks, probably won't be for a little while. Might have to get some insight from ya if I run into any problems.

Think they will be ready to go on tomorrow?

I had some rubber butyl that baically is a string you lay in the channel and press them together. I had to heat it in the oven to make it more pliable. But they're sealed and im driving it tonight

Yea I saw that rubber butyl on the retrofit source website. Was wondering how good it works. Seem like it sealed it pretty well?

Let's just say I had to heat the housing once it was in the channel so that I could press them together. I'd say I should never have a problem! After driving around tonight I would say it is a must have mod!!

Switchbacks, fogs, and heads are all 6k. They are a little less blue in person but I love the look.
