LED tail light help!!!

I recently did a nightshade job on my tail lights while leaving the reverse section of the tail light unshaded. I am loving the look of it! However, I'm a little nervous that my brake/signal/parking lights may not quite be bright enough now. I want to put a bright LED in to replace the stock brake/signal/parking bulb to possibly reduce the risk of getting rear-ended. Anyone with a good suggestion as far as a relatively cheap, yet bright bulb please help!

Short answer: There is no PnP bulb that will yield more candlepower than a stock 3157. Your only option for more light is a true retrofit with LEDs.

Stock 3157s: ~15lm
LEDs: ~250lm
